Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Darley Park.
Urana Duke and Poppo's Darling collided soon after the start. Razor Roy and Hello Goodnight collided soon after the start. Poppo's Darling and Nowhere Nathe collided at the 300m mark. Urana Duke, Lethal Image and Scraping Paint collided at the 250m mark checking Urana Duke and Lethal Image causing both greyhounds to fall as a result; Razor Roy was inconvenienced by the falling greyhounds. Scraping Paint crossed to the inside and Darley Park crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.
Razor Roy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Urana Duke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hindleg paw. No stand down period was imposed.
Lethal Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both monkey muscles and shin soreness to the left foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
