A pre-race sample was taken from Weeona Polly.
Barellen Rocket and Tizza Gem were slow to begin.
Mister Wingard, Weeona Polly and Chasin' Louie collided soon after the start. Weeona Polly, Chasin' Louie and Tizza Gem collided approaching the first turn. Poppo's Legacy and Weeona Polly collided on the first turn checking Mister Wingard. Oriental Gracie and Gunmandu collided approaching the home turn causing Chasin' Louie galloped on Oriental Gracie severely checking Chasin' Louie and Oriental Gracie, Oriental Gracie stumbled and lost ground.
Oriental Gracie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right stifle to foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Representative Mr S. Kaltsis requested that Mister Wingard undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
