Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Aeroplane Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Totally Bella, Boes Bounty, Spyro The Dragon, Unleash Betty and Gaerwen Bale collided soon after the start checking Spyro The Dragon.  Spyro The Dragon raced wide approaching the first turn.  Unleash Betty checked off Hook Along Pippa approaching the home turn.

Barellen Rocket and Tizza Gem were slow to begin.

Mister Wingard, Weeona Polly and Chasin' Louie collided soon after the start.  Weeona Polly, Chasin' Louie and Tizza Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Poppo's Legacy and Weeona Polly collided on the first turn checking Mister Wingard. Oriental Gracie and Gunmandu collided approaching the home turn causing Chasin' Louie galloped on Oriental Gracie severely checking Chasin' Louie and Oriental Gracie, Oriental Gracie stumbled and lost ground.

Oriental Gracie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right stifle to foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Representative Mr S. Kaltsis requested that Mister Wingard undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Montaro was quick to begin.  Melanistic and Sassy Keats were slow to begin.

Montaro and Warm Beer collided soon after the start.  Melanistic checked off Awesome Arby approaching the home turn.  Montaro and Melanistic collided on the home turn.  Montaro checked off Melanistic entering the home straight.  Montaro raced wide in the home straight.

Trainer Mr C. Dalton requested that Awesome Arby undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right stopper.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

September Dream and Zambora Tara were slow to begin.

Darnum Dozer and Zereva collided approaching the first turn.  Zambora Tara and Zereva collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  September Dream and Madalia Pixie collided entering the home straight.  September Dream, Madalia Pixie and Darnum Dozer collided several times in the home straight.

Never Simple was slow to begin.

Goldana Bale and Lennie's Flyer collided soon after the start.  Never Simple checked off Goldana Bale soon after the start.  Shanlyn Spot crossed out on the first turn checking Why Woodleigh and Lucky Lulu causing Shanlyn Spot and Lucky Lulu to race wide.  Never Simple eased from the approaching first turn to approaching the home turn.  Shanlyn Spot race wide on the home turn.  

Never Simple underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Musselwhite, the represntative of Never Simple regarding the greyhounds racing manners from the first turn to approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Never Simple was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Musselwhite pleaded guilty to the charge, Never Simple is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sally's Pride, Secret Thoughts, Fonzarelli, Light The Track and Lloyd Bale collided soon after the start severely checking Light The Track.  Hird From Bucks and Fonzarelli collided approaching the first turn severely checking Hird From Bucks which faltered.  Sally's Pride and Pennine Way raced wide in the home straight.  

Hird From Bucks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Scott Confusion Mr Kevin Quinn regarding the late scratching of the greyhound at 9.46pm 3rd June 2020.  Mr K. Quinn reported that he discovered the greyhound to have a hamstring injury last evening and scratched the greyhound pursuant to (GAR 23).  Stewards accepted Mr. Quinn's explanation and advised him a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Further, Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ridgeline and Yanderra Rip collided soon after the start.  What Price Bucks clipped the heels of Yanderra Rip entering the home straight checking Enya Bale.

Ignite The Stars, Run Like Rhys and Refresh collided soon after the start.  Mighty Matilda and Monaco Lights collided soon after the start.  Mighty Matilda and Mini Fernando collided approaching the first turn checking Mini Fernando.  Refresh checked off Run Like Rhys approaching the first turn.  Run Like Rhys contacted the running rail in the home straight.

Jack's Fantasy, Architecture, King Brown Trav collided on the first turn King Brown Trav and Stagger Loot.  King Brown Trav checked off Architecture approaching the home turn checking Stagger Loot.  King Brown Trav and Stagger Loot collided several times on the home turn checking both greyhounds, causing both to race wide.  

Shaun John underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing to the left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Romany Girl and Peaked were quick to begin.

Voluptuous Dot stumbled soon after the start.  Turn Him Around and Voluptuous Dot collided approaching the first turn checking Voluptuous Dot.  Turn Him Around checked off Petey Baqui on the first turn.  Turn Him Around and Voluptuous Dot raced wide approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Inter Rose - the winner of the event.
