Aquileia was quick to begin. Kalter, Pull Shot and Motor Ace collided approaching the first turn checking Kalter. Pull Shot and Motor Ace collided on the first turn checking Pull Shot. Two Up Thommo, Op Shop and Darley Park collided approaching the home turn checking Op Shop and Darley Park. Op Shop and Darley Park collided entering the home straight. Kalter raced wide in the home straight.
