Butch Regis and Flying Moss collided soon after the start. Ted's Dream, Shirdale Tom and Inter Cody collided soon after the start. Butch Regis crossed to the outside soon after the start. Shirdale Tom and Inter Cody shifted in at the 300m mark checking Ted's Dream. Tim Tam Sam, Shirdale Tom and Inter Cody collided at the 275m mark. Tim Tam Sam and Shirdale Tom collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark.
