Through The Dark – Late scratching at 9:02am when Trainer Mr Kee reported the greyhound to have a pad injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Honest Keithy.
Red Taltarni and Aston Ando were quick to begin.
Aston Ando and Devil's Cartel collided approaching the first turn severely checking Aston Ando which fell. Devil's Cartel, Janray Lucky One and Nella Bale collided on the first turn.
Aston Ando underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
