Libby The Ripper - Late scratching at 10:12am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms L. Farquhar was fined $100.
Parumba Barty was slow to begin.
Callow Street and Jazzier collided soon after the start. Callow Street raced wide approaching the 100m mark checking Parumba Barty. Ishmy Rory checked off Jazzier at the 50m mark.
The Stewards noted the number 1 magnet was not covered in this event. This had no material impact on the race as all greyhounds started from the correct box wearing the correct rugs. Stewards spoke to starter and reminded him of his responsibility to ensure that the correct numbers are displayed for each event.
