Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Runaway Angel and Go The Doves were quick to begin.

Woorarra Warrior and Rippy Rascal collided soon after the start.  Thunder Spolly, Boes Bounty and Flossy Jo collided approaching the first turn.  Woorarra Warrior and Madalia Pixie collided on the first turn checking Woorarra Warrior.  Thunder Spolly checked off Boes Bounty on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Runaway Angel, Ms Emily Sullivan in regards to the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.

Midnight Dancer was slow to begin.

Lucero and Walk With Grace collided soon after the start.  Weeona Polly and Unleash Betty collided soon after the start.  Lucero, Walk With Grace and No Intro collided approaching the first turn checking Lucero and Walk With Grace.  Sunshine Spolly, Kingy Lights and Midnight Dancer collided approaching the home turn checking Midnight Dancer.  Lucero and Kingy Lights collided entering the home straight.  Kingy Lights lost ground over the concluding stages.  

Kingy Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Biggest Star was quick to begin.

Max Beau and Wow Anna collided approaching the first turn.  Biggest Star, Why Not Hutch and Fabulous Journey collided on the first turn checking Why Not Hutch, Prince Archer, Max Beau and Wow Anna.  Why Not Hutch and Wow Anna collided approaching the home turn.  Why Not Hutch raced wide on the home turn.

Kareda Gold underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Banjo Sally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right elbow injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr C. Leviston, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Banjo Sally was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Leviston pleaded guilty to the charge, Banjo Sally must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Spark Joy – Late scratching at 7.52am when Mrs B. Pulis reported the greyhound to have a shoulder injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shanlyn Spot and Madalia Brodie were slow to begin.

La Quinta Rocks and Bomber's Queen approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Queen.  Shanlyn Spot, Madalia Daisy and Diamond Cartel collided on the first turn severely checking Diamond Cartel, Madalia Daisy and checking La Quinta Rocks, Bomber's Queen and Shanlyn Spot causing Madalia Daisy to fall.  Shanlyn Spot raced wide approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  

Madalia Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury.  A 5 day syand down period was imposed. 

Diamond Cartel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Spolly Bear and Mac's Mayhem were slow begin. 

Dyna Yardo and Sense collided the first turn checking Sense.  Mac's Mayhem and Broken Pieces collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Yardo faltered approaching the home turn.  Broken Pieces and Missy Meghan collided approaching the home turn.  Mac's Mayhem and Dyna Yardo collided on the home turn checking Sense.  

Sense underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right wrist.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Yardo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Master Zemnick was slow to begin.

Pennine Way and House Of Luck collided soon after the start.  House Of Luck faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Pennine Way checked off Inter Rose on the home turn.

House Of Luck - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

House Of Luck underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle and a laceration to the right front foot.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mega Mckayla.

Mega McKayla was quick to begin.

Fairytale Ending checked off Mega McKayla on the first turn.  She Got Fire and Gene Man collided on the first turn.  Tarquin Bob and Muza's Belle collided on the first turn causing Muza's Belle to lose ground.  She Got Fire pulled up on the first turn.  Tarquin Bob and Mega McKayla collided on the home turn.  Gene Man crossed out on the home turn.  Tarquin Bob and Mega McKayla collided in the home straight.  Gene Man crossed in, in the home straight checking Muza's Belle.

Muza's Belle underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

She Got Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
