Steward's Report
Cute Patootie underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Star Ballerina, Rebel May Road, Victor Leone and Pretty Lily were slow to begin.
Star Ballerina and Rebel May Road collided soon after the start. Lucky Lulu and Blazin' Hawk collided approaching the first turn. Victor Leone checked off Cute Patootie approaching the first turn. Lucky Lulu checked off Pretty Lily on the first turn. Rebel May Road checked off Star Ballerina on the first turn. Rebel May Road cramped approaching the home turn and subsequently pulled up. Cute Patootie raced wide in the home straight.
Rebel May Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Gail Saunders, the representative of Rebel May Road. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Rebel May Road must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
