Cheeky Bumpa was quick to begin. Taking Off was slow to begin.
Taking Off lost ground on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Onya Jakit checked off Goofey Express approaching the first turn checking Voluptuous Dot. Aladdin Prince and New Fire Girl collided on the first turn checking Aladdin Prince. Voluptuous Dot and Goofey Express raced wide in the home straight.
Taking Off underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
