Kissable - Trainer's representative Mr. G. Mannion was queried regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had over the past four weeks – being 7 starts in 27 days. Mr. Mannion stated that the greyhound does not trial between races, and is reluctant to exercise in the yards at home. Stewards noted the comments and will continue to monitor the greyhound's racing frequency.
Ernesto Bale and Stevick collided soon after the start, checking Ernesto Bale. Maximum Refusal and Kissable collided soon after the start, checking Kissable. Maximum Refusal, Mr. Rain Maker and Bisenti collided on the first turn, checking Mr. Rain Maker, Ernesto Bale and Kissable. Stevick, Maximum Refusal and Bisenti collided entering the back straight, checking Stevick. Mr. Rain Maker, Cornhill Rebel and Lena Lake collided entering the back straight, checking Lena Lake.
