Steward's Report
Stewards questioned Trainer Mr. R. Coleman regarding the number of starts Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna have had over the past fortnight – being three and four starts respectively in 13 days. Mr. Coleman stated that both greyhounds have been racing consistently, do not trial between runs, and were checked by a muscleman yesterday. Stewards noted Mr. Coleman's explanation and advised him they would continue to monitor the greyhounds' racing frequency.
Send It Socks was slow to begin.
Flying Yuna crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Maybe Gracie, Wicked One and Lovely Sienna. Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna collided on the first turn. Zipping Solo, Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna raced wide on the home turn.
In accordance with LR 22 Simon Humphries was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.
