Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Inga April and Crooked Rhodes collided soon after the start. Dinner Roll shifted in soon after the start and collided with Inga April, checking Inga April and Crooked Rhodes. Hyena Queen and Graceful Sienna collided on the first turn checking Hyena Queen. Graceful Sienna checked off Crooked Rhodes approaching the home turn. 

Crooked Rhodes' muzzle became dislodged during the running of the event.

Shivering Stone was slow to begin.

Blue Crayon and Inga Lewis collided soon after the start checking Blue Crayon. Blue Crayon, Joffa's Mayhem and Short Tyson collided soon after the start. Wolfsbane Potion, Blue Crayon and Joffa's Mayhem collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

Spot On Mick went up with the lids and lost ground. Harmon Bale, Dancing Sienna, Riverdale Bluey and Big Buck collided soon after the start checking Dancing Sienna, Riverdale Bluey and Big Buck. Aerolithology checked off Wolf Shadow on the first turn. Dancing Sienna and Big Buck collided approaching the home turn. 

Wise Storm and Wild Slammer were slow to begin.

Mepunga Missile shifted in soon after the start checking Sweet Osaka and Mepunga Missile. Mepunga Missile checked off Tiggerlong Rebel on the first turn and fell checking Sweet Osaka, Mepunga Royal and Wild Slammer. Dark Jedi checked off Tiggerlong Rebel in the home straight. 

Mepunga Missile underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right shoulder, however no stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Nev and Anubis Al were slow to begin.

Okawa Eye Candy checked off Black Mustang soon after the start. Jackson County and Lethal Image colided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Could Be Magic, Jackson County and Lethal Image collided on the first turn checking Jackson County. Could Be Magic and Lethal Image colllided approaching the home turn. Could Be Magic checked off Lethal Image in the home straight.

Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.

Maximum Refusal and Potent collided on the first turn.

Tiggerlong Grace checked off Drumroll Please approaching the first turn. Kiss Me Razley checked off Hadeel Bale approaching the first turn. Quick Income and Aston Nino collided on the first turn checking Quick Income. Aston Nino, Tiggerlong Grace and Hadeel Bale collided on the first turn checking Aston Nino and Hadeel Bale. Quick Income and Hadeel Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Quick Income.

Stewards questioned Trainer Mr. R. Coleman regarding the number of starts Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna have had over the past fortnight – being three and four starts respectively in 13 days. Mr. Coleman stated that both greyhounds have been racing consistently, do not trial between runs, and were checked by a muscleman yesterday. Stewards noted Mr. Coleman's explanation and advised him they would continue to monitor the greyhounds' racing frequency.

Send It Socks was slow to begin.

Flying Yuna crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Maybe Gracie, Wicked One and Lovely Sienna. Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna collided on the first turn. Zipping Solo, Maybe Gracie and Lovely Sienna raced wide on the home turn. 

In accordance with LR 22 Simon Humphries was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Kiss Mwah, All Show and Chill Out Dusty collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Kiss Mwah, All Show, Double Truffle and Chill Out Dusty collided on the first turn checking Kiss Mwah, All Show and Chill Out Dusty. Kiss Mwah and Chill Out Dusty collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and also checking All Show.

Slingshot Angel and Lektra Rainbow collided soon after the start. Speedy Spyro shifted in soon after the start checking Lektra Rainbow, Milwaukee Miss and Ninetymile Hawk. Lektra Rainbow and Milwaukee Miss collided approaching the first turn. Wake The Dragon galloped on Ninetymile Hawk on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Milwaukee Miss checked off Lektra Rainbow on the first turn. Butterfish and Lektra Rainbow collided in the home straight.
