Annaley Flash underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Knocka Bott was slow to begin. Lektra Swing stayed in the box and took no competitive part and tailed off as a result. Dancing Rose, Annaley Flash and Filorga Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Annaley Flash. Dancing Rose, Filorga Bale and Sweet Potato collided on the first turn checking Annaley Flash and Filorga Bale. Mystic Moon, Dancing Rose, Seet Potato and Knocka Bott collided on the first turn checking Dancing Rose. Mystic Moon, Sweet Potato and Knocka Bott collided on the home turn checking Sweet Potato. Annaley Flash raced wide in the home straight.
