Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Zanzibar Icon checked off Barellen Rocket on the first turn. Spins On Spins and Max Mercury collided approaching the home turn. Twilight Flame and Zanzibar Icon collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Banjo's Power and Crown Knox were slow to begin. Ben Doon, Banjo's Power, Graceful Gazelle and Crown Knox collided on the first turn. Ben Doon, Banjo's Power, Graceful Gazelle and Crown Knox collided approaching the home turn checking Ben Doon and Banjo's Power severely checking Graceful Gazelle. Mustered Courage and Patricia Mary collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards questioned Trainer, Mr. John Mangion regarding the number of starts Hitomi Bale has had over the past fortnight - 5 starts in 14 days. Mr Mangion stated that the greyhound does little work between runs, doesn't trial between races and the greyhound races in good form with this strategy. Stewards noted Mr Mangions explanation.

All Inn Tilly, Hitomi Bale and My Dark Rose collided soon after the start checking Hitomi Bale and My Dark Rose. Maddox Bale, Elope To Paris, Lana's Image and Kenita collided on the first turn checking. Maddox Bale and Lana's Image severely checking Elope To Paris. Hitomi Bale and My Dark Rose collided on the first turn checking My Dark Rose. Hitomi Bale and Lana's Image collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Silky Rose and Kenita collided approaching the winning post.

Lana's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have a laceration to the right foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Fifteen Love was slow to bein. Brave Hearted and Deering Danae were very slow to begin - 3 lengths. Motor Ace, Shock Value and Swansie Delight collided approaching the first turn checking Shock Value. Indominus, Motor Ace and Swansie Delight collided on the first turn checking Motor Ace. Deering Danae checked off Motor Ace on the home turn. Motor Ace and Deering Danae collided entering the home straight and raced wide as a result. Brave Hearted and Indominus raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Deal, Be Seeing You and Tekidanto collided soon after the start checking Be Seeing You. Hello Cobber, Select Pattern and Spyfection collided approaching the first turn checking Hello Cobber and Spyfection. Be Seeing You checked off Select Pattern on the home turn. Ivalise Allen, Hello Cobber, Spyfection and Tekidanto raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards questioned Trainer, Mr J.Formosa regarding the number of starts that Gunmetal Liam has had over the past month, today being 8 starts in 28 days. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound is currently racing well and he has the greyhound checked regularly. Stewards noted Mr Formosas' explanation. 

Speckie Mckean and Gunmetal Liam collided soon after the start checking Gunmetal Liam. Gunmetal Liam and Posterior Chain colluded on the first turn checking Gunmetal Liam. Run Maggie Run and Awesome Asset collided in the home straight.

Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry with handler Ms Nicole Lummas, in relation to non essential people entering the track.

You Aussie and Camo Rex collided soon after the start checking You Aussie. Dundee Vulcan and You Aussie collided on the firsrt turn. Dundee Vulcan, You Aussie and Elegant Malt collided on the first turn checking Dundee Vulcan and You Aussie.

Fast Fever, Bushmans Destiny, Serious One, Horey's Prince, Red Wine Fever and King Trav Brown collided approaching the first turn checking Fast Fever, Bushmans Destiny and Horey's Prince severely checking Serious One. Fast Fever galloped on Bushmans Destiny on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Bushmans Destiny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left biceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Serious One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right back muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Annaley Flash – New declared weight of 32.6kg, last raced at 31.5kg.

Annaley Flash underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Knocka Bott was slow to begin. Lektra Swing stayed in the box and took no competitive part and tailed off as a result. Dancing Rose, Annaley Flash and Filorga Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Annaley Flash. Dancing Rose, Filorga Bale and Sweet Potato collided on the first turn checking Annaley Flash and Filorga Bale. Mystic Moon, Dancing Rose, Seet Potato and Knocka Bott collided on the first turn checking Dancing Rose. Mystic Moon, Sweet Potato and Knocka Bott collided on the home turn checking Sweet Potato. Annaley Flash raced wide in the home straight.

Lektra Swing underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suspected fractured toe on the left foreleg. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Swing - Stayed in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

Annaley Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right biceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Des and Fairytale Ending collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Des. Madame Duggie and Table Top collided on the first turn checking Madame Duggie, Jumbo Bale, Crackerjack Des and Fairytale Ending. Madame Duggie, Jumbo Bale and Fairytale Ending collided on the home turn checking all three greythounds.

Yuken Talk and Burning Express were slow to begin. Nitro Gee, Yuken Talk, Ted's Dream, Dale's Jet, Doran's Call and Winlock Homes collided on the first turn checking Nitro Gee, Yuken Talk, Ted's Dream, Dale's Jet and Winlock Homes.

Ted's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right back muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
