Steward's Report
Stewards questioned Representitive, Ms J. Formosa regarding the number of starts Kareda Gold has had over the past month - 7 starts in 27 days. Ms Formosa stated that Mr. Formosa checked his greyhounds for soundness every morning following a race start, doesn't exercise the dog in long training runs and rarely trials once the greyhound is fit for racing. Stewards noted Ms Formosa's explanation.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward Ms D. Barber did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Time Twister.
Kareda Gold and Inter Lana collided soon after the start. My Victoria and Atarah collided soon after the start. Atarah, Crystal Bling and Kareda Gold collided at the 300m mark checking Crystal Bling, Atarah and My Victoria. My Victoria crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark. Titanium Lad checked off Mumma's Bear at the 150m mark.
A post-race sample was taken from Mumma's Bear - the winner of the event.
