Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Pando Patrol and What Feeling collided soon after the start. Ishmy Neecy and Mt. View Molly collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark causing Kid Malawi to check off Ishmy Neecy.

Oriental Gracie was a late scratching at 10.35am by Order of Stewards after trainer, Ms Cassandra Barnard presented the incorrect greyhound at kenneling.

Lady Kin Lee, Chasin' Louie and Black Catani were slow to begin.

Saharrah Blitz and Patricia Mary collided soon after the start. Chasin' Louie and Patricia Mary collided at the 200m mark.

Stewards spoke to Ms Cassandra Barnard after she presented the incorrect greyhound at kennelling. Ms Barnard was found guilty of a breach of GAR 31(1), in that she did fail to present the correct greyhound to Stewards prior to the end of kennelling and was subsequently fined $250.00. 

Light Show - Late scratching at 10.37am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a split webbing to the right hind paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Another Bling was slow to begin and collided with Shirdale Tom soon after the start. 

Stewards questioned Representitive, Ms J. Formosa regarding the number of starts Kareda Gold has had over the past month - 7 starts in 27 days. Ms Formosa stated that Mr. Formosa checked his greyhounds for soundness every morning following a race start, doesn't exercise the dog in long training runs and rarely trials once the greyhound is fit for racing. Stewards noted Ms Formosa's explanation.

Hardaway George underwent a post-race veterinary examination, after a fall in the catching pen, and was found to have soreness in the right hamstring and thoraco-lubar (back). A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dust Up and Tennyson Girl collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Doran's Girl and Burning Express collided at the 250m mark. Dust Up crossed to the outside at the 200m mark and collided with Tennyson Girl. Saucy Sav and Yeppy Allen collided approaching the 150m mark. Saucy Sav stumbled approaching the100m mark.

Coconut Gloria crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Ko Rapid Jack, Mossy Oak and Golden Gift. Awakened Dragon and Coconut Gloria collided soon after the start. Ko Rapid Jack and Coconut Gloria collided several times at the 250m mark checking Mossy Oak. Golden Gift, Ko Rapid Jack and Coconut Gloria collided at the 150m mark. Awakened Dragon and Further Dreamer collided at the 100m mark. Mossy Oak faltered and lost ground from the 100m mark. Awakened Dragon checked off Further Dreamer at the 50m mark.

Mossy Oak underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
