Frisky Den was slow to begin. Pyrenees Steele was very slow to begin (4L).

Och Eye Mum raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Little Fernando and Kaya's Pearl raced wide in the home straight.

Kaya's Pearl underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have bruising/ contusion on the forehead. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
