Double Zero was quick to begin. Pyrenees Steele and Old Girl were slow to begin.
Double Zero crossed to rail on the first turn checking Lovely Gracie, Nicko Dancer and Kaya's Pearl which then collided with Summer Siren checking both greyhounds. Lovely Gracie and Nicko Dancer raced wide on the home turn.
