Steward's Report
Prior to Race 1, Stewards were notified by the Track Curator regarding an electrical fault with the 385m boxes. Stewards announced an idefinite delay following Race 1 to allow remedial work to be undertaken on the boxes. Subsequently, the start times for Races 2-11 were re-scheduled.
The start of this race was re-scheduled to 7.32PM.
Runaway Angel, Taylor's Trouble and Moonyeen were slow to begin.
Runaway Angel and Taylor's Trouble collided approaching the first turn checking Runaway Angel and severely checking Taylor's Trouble. Fast Food Junkie checked off Yozo Bale approaching the home turn. Zulu Dance raced wide in the home straight.
Taylor's Trouble underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
