The start of this race was re-scheduled to 9.18PM.
A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Never Mind.
College Prince was slow to begin.
Ivalise Allen and Uncle Rico collided soon after the start checking Ivalise Allen. Captive Prince turned its head outwards approaching the first turn checking Miss Never Mind and Sand Runner. My Name's Wally and Scott Something collided approaching the home turn checking Scott Something. Ivalise Allen and Sand Runner collided in the home straight. Sand Runner checked off Ivalise Allen in the home straight. College Prince and Scott Something collided approaching the winning post.
Captive Prince underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right deltoid muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer M.r S. Van taarling, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Captive Prince was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Van taaling pleaded guilty to the charge, Captive Prince must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
