Mitch Sparrabush crossed to the outsdie approaching the first turn checking Regal Diamonds and Slipaway Twister. Wood Cutter Stan, Notso Funny, Inventor and Rangatang collided approaching the first turn severely checking Notso Funny. Wood Cutter Stan and Rangatang collided several times on the first turn checking Rangatang which stumbled as a result. Regal Diamonds checked off Slipaway Twister on the first turn. Rangatang checked off Wood Cutter Stan several times approaching the home turn. Notso Funny, Slipaway Twister and Rangatang collided approaching the home turn. Regal Diamonds checked off Slipaway Twister approaching the home turn. Rangatang checked off Notso Funny entering the home straight. Magic Mantle and Mitch Sparrabush raced wide in the home straight and collided several times. Rangatang and Slipaway Twister collided approaching the winning post.
Notso Funny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gluteal muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
