In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 15.7 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.1 degrees. 

Garage Sale and Mr. Bob collided soon after the start checking Garage Sale. Grand Fletch checked off Panel One soon after the start. High Volume and Apple Valley collided on the first turn checking High Volume, Panel One and Garage Sale.

Rossington, Zambezi Icon and Soda Nigel were quick to begin. Black Mist and Zambezi Icon collided in the home straight.

Dusty Express and Zeal The Moment collided soon after the start checking Zeal The Moment. Class Action and Elite Mia collided on the first turn checking Elite Mia and Zeal The Moment. Spring Walter checked off Aston Gripen on the first turn, faltered and pulled up as a result. Dusty Express turned it's head outwards and marred Class Action in the home straight. Class Action turned it's head inwards and marred Dusty Express in the home straight.

Spring Walter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left stifle injury. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed.

Dusty Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle and left hip. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Class Action underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.V. Mileto, the representative of Dusty Express regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Dusty Express was charged with marring. Mr. Mileto pleaded guilty to the charge, Dusty Express is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Kaltsis, the representative of Class Action regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Class Action was charged with marring. Mr. Kaltsis pleaded guilty to the charge, Class Action is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Spot On Mick was slow to begin. Tan Back Tan and Yakima collided on the first turn. Chips An' Cheese checked off Riverside Dash collided entering the home straight.

Erolo Bale - Late scratching at 8.46 AM on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to swelling to the left elbow. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Soho and Exposure collided on the first turn checking Exposure. Aston Soho and Exposure collided in the home straight.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter S. Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.  Smooth Onyx, Kraken Smiles, My Name's Wally and All Inn Deeds collided approaching the first turn checking Kraken Smiles, My Name's Wally and All Inn Deeds. Major Bourbski and Smooth Onyx collided on the first turn checking Smooth Onyx.

Kraken Smiles underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind leg injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

All Inn Deeds underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the tail and a laceration to the left stifle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Swift Current, winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. T. Wark regarding the greyhound Kraken Smiles racing manners approaching the winning post. After observing all available footage, Stewards own observations and Mr. Wark's explanation, Stewards issued a warning against the greyhound for it's racing manners.

Stan's Hope and Sonoma Icon collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Classic Paws and Richmond Flyer collided approaching the winning post.

My Ripper Gogo and Bilbo were slow to begin. My Ripper Gogo, College Prince and Zoe's Intention collided soon after the start checking College Ptrince and Zoe's Intention. My Ripper Gogo, Praise Me and Elite Paws collided on the first turn severely checking Praise Me. Bilbo faltered approaching the home turn checking Zoe's Intention. All Inn Abby and Kraken Smick collided approaching the home turn checking Kraken Smick. College Prince checked off Praise Me on the home turn.

My Ripper Gogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind limb. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Benny - Late scratching at 8.38 AM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. B. Hare was fined $100.

Lektra Swing stumbled at box rise and lost ground. Head Banger checked off Zulu Smoke on the first turn.
