Sure To Excite - Late scratching at 5:38pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Big Dove was slow to begin. Richmond Flyer and Kraken Roger collided on the first turn. Forgotten Girl and Big Dove collided on the first turn checking Forgotten Girl. Richmond Flyer and Kraken Roger collided approaching the home turn checking Richmond Flyer.
A post-race sample was taken from Amy Amour - the winner of the event.
