Downtown Dolly, Beau Gem and Hird From Bucks collided approaching the first turn checking Hird From Bucks and Beau Gem. Foxy Princess and Bomber's Return collided on the first turn. Bulk Billed galloped on Downtown Dolly on the first turn severely checking Bulk Billed causing Downtown Dolly to fall checking Bomber's Return severely checking Bulk Billed and Hird From Bucks both greyhounds fell as a result.
Hird From Bucks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was detected.
Downtown Dolly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a scapula fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
