Pamma was quick to begin.  Braemer Camilita and Hoppy Lee were slow to begin. Pamma and Galway Lights collided soon after the start.  Mystic Jaguar crossed in approaching the first turn and collided with Pamma and Galway Light checking Galway Lights, Pamma, Peregrine Speed and She'll Be White, causing She'll Be White to fall.  Braemar Camilita and Pamma collided on the first turn.  

She'll Be White underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  

Spolly Smasher was quick to begin.

Idle Gem and Yuken Win collided soon after the start.  Baz The Rocket and Sam's Spolly collided approaching the first turn.  Sam's Spolly and Pennine Way collided on the first turn checking Pennie Way.  Spolly Smasher checked off Baz The Rocket on the first turn checking Yuken Win and Sam's Spolly.  It's A Date and Sam's Spolly collided on the home turn.  Spolly Smasher and Sam's Spolly raced wide in the home straight.  

Federal Express checked off Spring Silver soon after the start.  Akhenaten checked off Raven Rich approaching the first turn.  Zipping Queen and Raven Rich collided on the first turn.  Dundee Jazz and Go Lucy Go collided approaching the winning post.

Bigwig and Olive's Branch were quick to begin.  Madalia Maggie was slow to begin.

Belleperi Miss – Late scratching at 6.34am when Mr P. McKenzie reported the greyhound to have a laceration to the right metacarpal (GAR 23). Mr McKenzie presented Belleperi Miss for a veterinary check following kennelling today and the injury was confirmed by the on-course veterinary and a 10 day stand down was imposed. 

Zipping Clare and Little Bala were slow to begin.

Ohana Sparkles and Big Boss Bree collided soon after the start.  Wolfie's Sook and Little Bala collided on the first turn.  Ohana Sparkles checked off Little Bala on the first turn.  Irinka Jenna and Little Bala collided approaching the home turn checking Irinka Jenna.  Wolfie's Sook and Ohana Sparkles collided several times on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Meehan Deano raced wide on the home turn and throughout the home straight. 

Unbuckled - Late scratching at 12.08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr A. Farley was fined $100.

Dynamic Ross and Dundee Ace were slow to begin.  

Urban Shiraz and Timmy Tunga collided soon after the start checking Timmy Tunga.  Urban Shiraz checked off Flash Fernando on the first turn causing Urban Shiraz to fall.  Flash Fernando and Dundee Ace collided on the first turn.  Airly Spence checked off Heidi Intention on the first turn.

Urban Shiraz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have both front radius's and left hind tibia fractures and was humanely euthanised.

This event was rescheduled to race at 2.54pm due to a racing incident in the previous event. 

Bomber's Return and Broken Pieces were quick to begin.  Rocky Two was slow to begin.

Airly With Grace checked off Broken Pieces approaching the first turn.  Rocky Two, Turn Him Around, Broken Pieces and Airly With Grace collided on the first turn checking Turn Him Around, Broken Pieces and Airly With Grace.  Turn Him Around checked off Broken Pieces approaching the home turn.  Sedaka and Bomber's Return collided in the home straight.  Turn Him Around and Broken Pieces raced wide in the home straight.  

Stewards inspected the track following this event and deemed the track safe for racing.

Lozin' Must and Keep 'Em Keen were slow to begin.

Liam Roxon, Gin Lee's Joe and Jye Licious collided approaching the first turn.  Gin Lee's Joe checked off Liam Roxon on the first turn checking Jye Licious, Gin Lee's Joe and Lozin’ Must.  Mister Mercury and Keep 'Em Keen collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Jye Licious raced wide on the first turn, approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  

Lozin' Must underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left calf and thigh muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blonde Bella, One More Light and All You Got were quick to begin.

Blazing Sword, Tonnes Of Zip and Sabakat collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Ninetymile Lenny and Inter Rose collided on the first turn checking Inter Rose.  One More Light and All You Got collided on the first turn.  Blonde Bella checked off All You Got approaching the home turn.  Blazing Sword and Blonde Bella collided on the home turn.

Lucky Gem and Speedy Readie collided soon after the start checking Speedy Readie.  Premier Jess galloped on Architecture on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Select Teeman, Zipping Lucky and Kingsbrae Boof collided approaching the home turn.  Premier Jess raced wide approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Select Teeman and Lucky Gem collided in the home straight.  Zipping Lucky raced wide in the home straight.  

Premier Jess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Architecture underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock dislocation.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Voluptuous Blue - winner of the event.

Meehan Phil – Late scratching at 8.11pm (2/10/2019) when Mr P. Pollutro reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Walt - Late scratching at 12.00pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an abraded paw pad. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Tarquin Bob and Queen Of Sprite were slow to begin.
