A pre-race sample was taken from Octo Flash.
Krisbar Immy checked off Sandulad on the first turn. No Sugar checked off Sense on the first turn. Krisbar Immy, Octo Flash, Sense and Go Shirvo Go collided on the first turn checking Octo Flash, Sense and Go Shirvo Go and causing Crackerjack Tys to race wide. Octo Flash galloped on No Sugar approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Krisbar Immy checked off Killana approaching the home turn.
Octo Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing on the left fore. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
