Steward's Report
Steel Magnolia was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Inga Ross lost ground entering the back straight. Steel Magnolia, Smoke And Embers and Rotarua collided on the second turn, checking Smoke And Embers and severely checking Rotarua.
Inga Ross underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six, no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr D.Long, the trainer of Inga Ross and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back straight.
