Wendy Maria and Quid Pro Quo collided on the second turn. Galilahi and Buddy Boy collided entering the home straight. My Names Daryl clipped the heels of Buddy Boy in the home straight and stumbled as a result. Galilahi, Buddy Boy and True collided in the home straight, checking Galilahi and Buddy Boy. Wendy Maria and Quid Pro Quo collided in the home straight. 

Bashful Boy and Work Zone collided approaching the first turn. Elegant Malt and Sin Dinero collided approaching the first turn. Bashful Boy, Work Zone and New Cross Gate collided on the first turn, causing New Cross Gate to fall and severely checking Little Fernando. Longbow clipped the heels of Bashful Boy on the home turn. Mum's The Word raced wide in the home straight. 

New Cross Gate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the left metatarsal. No stand down period was imposed.

Steel Magnolia was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Inga Ross lost ground entering the back straight. Steel Magnolia, Smoke And Embers and Rotarua collided on the second turn, checking Smoke And Embers and severely checking Rotarua. 

Inga Ross underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six, no apparent injury could be detected. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Long, the trainer of Inga Ross and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back straight.

Harry's Entity - Late scratching at 2:22pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Crymelon Kit was slow to begin. Super Stoked, Going In Style and Awesome Freckles collided soon after the start, checking Awesome Freckles. Awesome Freckles and Nut And Bolt collided approaching the first turn, checking Awesome Freckles. Super Stoked stumbled on the first turn and lost ground. 

Super Stoked underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
