Steward's Report
Black In Town - Late scratching at 10:36am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Springvale Misty.
Rockin' Rosco and Four Keeps collided soon after the start. No Sugar and Four Keeps collided approaching the winning post.
Mrs. Hardwicke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Mrs. Hardwicke was found to have above expected general muscle soreness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Kevin Quinn failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Mrs. Hardwicke for racing (10 min late). Mr Quinn was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
