Cool Merv and Fuzzy Bale collided approaching the first turn to approaching the second turn checking Cool Merv, Fuzzy Bale and Money To Burn. Pyrenees Regal raced wide on the first turn. Pack Rat and Cool Merv collided on the second turn. Money To Burn checked off Fuzzy Bale entering the back straight. Radar To Excel and Antebellum collided on the third turn checking Pack Rat, Antebellum, Money To Burn and Cool Merv, severely checking Radar To Excel which lost considerable ground as a result. Radar To Excel and Money To Burn collided in the home straight checking Radar To Excel.

Fizadore and Bang Bang Girl were slow to begin. Brindle Pogo and Check My Swagger collided soon after the start. Impressive Lily and Clumsy Tank collided approaching the first turn. Miss Seaspray and Navara collided approaching the first turn checking Navara. Clumsy Tank and Bang Bang Girl collided approaching the second turn checking Clumsy Tank. Navara checked off Clumsy Tank entering the back straight.

Blowin' Smoke was quick to begin. Top Dreams and King Enright were slow to begin. Honeypot Agogo and Jack Enlim collided soon after the start. Blowin' Smoke checked off Misty Red soon after the start checking Top Dreams, Poppa Slaz, King Enright and Honeypot Agogo. King Enright and Blowin' Smoke collided on the first turn. Poppa Slaz, Honeypot Agogo and Jack Enlim collided on the second turn checking Azarenka, El Diva and Grand Cobbler. Top Dreams faltered on the home turn and subsequently tailed off.
Top Dreams was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 28 stand down period was imposed.

Tutu Cute was slow to begin. El Diva and Kid Icarus collided soon after the start. Sarah's Baby and Destini Warrior collided soon after the start checking Sarah's Baby. Tutu Cute and Sarah's Baby collided on the first turn checking Tutu Cute. Kid Icarus and Grand Cobbler collided on the first turn checking Grand Cobbler. El Diva and Grand Cobbler collided entering the home straight. Sarah's Baby checked off the heels of Destini Warrior approaching the second turn. Destini Warrior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind, a 10 days stand down period was imposed.

Ikari Thunder was slow to begin. Modest Ruler and Young Gunner collided soon after the start. Super Zippy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Young Gunner, Modest Ruler, Chloe's Creek and Keyser Soze. Ikari Thunder and Clinical Finish collided approaching the second turn. Modest Ruler checked off Chloe's Creek on the second turn. Chloe's Creek and Modest Ruler collided on the home turn checking Chloe's Creek.

Excellent Talent and Georgie's Colour collided approaching the first turn. Sky Creek and Dyna Ishaan collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Cambo's Lady and Excellent Talent collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn checking Cambo's Lady. Skye Creek checked off the heels of Georgie's Color entering the home straight.
Cambo's Lady was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front dew claw injury, a 7 days stand down period was imposed.

Overlord was slow to begin. Make Do and Chunuk Bair collided soon after the start. Chunuk Bair, Dyna Bernt, and Seinfield collided approaching the first turn checking Chunuk Bair. Major McCheese and Overload collided on the second turn. Butterworth Bale checked off Overlord on the third turn.

Bella's Girl crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Husky, Dreamer, Spyware, Ironic Twist, Durch Technik and Haniera. Durch Technik galloped on the heels of Haniera collided on the first turn causing Haniera to stumble and lose considerable ground. Spyware and Bella's Girl collided on the first turn. Durch Technik and Candescent collided on the second turn. Durch Technik and Bella's Girl collided on the fourth turn.

Haniera was vetted following the event. It was reported that  the greyhound sustained grazes on the left and right hind, no stand down period was imposed.

Illustrious was slow to begin. Abit Cooler and Raucous collided soon after the start. Abit Cooler, Raucous and Flirtatious collided on the first turn. Illustrious and Turkoglu collided approaching the second turn checking Turkoglu and Simone's Mate. Yearwood and Flirtatious collided on the second turn and again on the third turn.
