Run Fast Maggie and Paddy Ray collided on the first turn checking Paddy Ray.  Tonking Home and Feelin' Hot collided on the first turn severely checking Tonking Home.  Feelin' Hot visibly eased and turned its head approaching the home turn.

Tonking Home underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left hock, spike wounds to the left hock and right hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Feelin' Hot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to both hind legs, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms R. Silva, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Feelin' Hot was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Silva pleaded guilty to the charge, Feelin' Hot must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

She's Got Cash was quick to begin.  Leaping Lydia was slow to begin.

She's Got Cash crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Lady Ruby checked off She's Got Cash entering the home straight.  Lady Ruby, She's Got Cash and Leaping Lydia collided in the home straight severely checking Lady Ruby and She's Got Cash.  Lady Ruby visibly eased approaching the winning post checking She's Got Cash.

Leaping Lydia – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Lady Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Neil Parsons, the trainer of Lady Ruby regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Lady Ruby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Parsons pleaded guilty to the charge, Lady Ruby is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

All For Now and Justin Rose collided approaching the first turn.  All For Now contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Justin Rose.  All For Now checked off George Knockin' approaching the home turn.  All For Now and George Knockin' collided in the home straight.

All For Now underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left monkey and right side of perineum. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

View Gift.  Bruno He Mikado and Crystal Shell collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  No Problem John and Baz The Rocket collided on the first turn checking No Problem John.  Lozin' Must checked off Baz The Rocket approaching the home turn.  Mt. View Gift checked off Salut Bianca approaching the home turn.  Bruno He Mikado, Mt. View Gift and No Problem John collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

Rosta Power crossed in approaching the first turn checking Mossy Oak and Lucas Rose.  Run Fast Bonnie and Rosta Power collided approaching the first turn checking Rosta Power, Run Fast Bonnie, Mossy Oak and Navy Storm.  Rosta Power and Navy Storm collided on the first turn severely checking Navy Storm which fell as a result.

Romany Girl was quick to begin.

Pink Floyd and Fifty Dollar collided on the first turn.  Doused In Mud and Fifty Dollar collided entering the back straight checking Doused In Mud.  Rodeo raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

Blonde Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left foreleg paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Line Trike underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail to the right hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Patient Panda and Our Centurion were slow to begin.

Our Centurion crossed to the rail soon after the start severely checking Red On Black.  Red On Black and Our Centurion collided on the second turn.  Stylish Missile and Sam's Spolly collided on the third turn.  Stylish Missile and Wicked Reason collided approaching the winning post.

No Sugar, Blueflash Lenny and On Degoey were slow to begin.

One More Light and Annaley Rooka collided on the first turn.  Lucy Gem checked off Shrek's Rusty on the first turn checking Little Bala and Bowie Boy.  Lucy Gem and Little Bala collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Mr William Craig requested an early race endorsement for Lady Alliance. The endorsement was approved for Lady Alliance after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in Early Races only until further notice.

Zipping Brandy and Tuiaki Dora collided approaching the first turn.  Pistol, Tinderella and Princess Spolly collided approaching the first turn.  Pacific Coast checked off Lady Alliance approaching the home turn checking Tinderella, Tuiaki Dora and Princess Spolly.  Zipping Brandy and Fiesty Girl raced wide in the home straight and collided.

Meeting Comments

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 311m with 5 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 18.53:

Violation finished 1st, Kiwi Hustler finished 2nd, Carrow Road finished 3rd, Big Bro Zesta finished 4th and Splish Splash finished 5th.

Violation – Was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for marring. Weighing 25.6kg and beginning from box 1 winning by a neck. Violation has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Kiwi Hustler – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to injury. Weighing 36.3kg and beginning from box 2 beaten by a neck. Kiwi Hustler was not cleared to race as it visibly turned its head on the home turn.

Carrow Road – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for unsatisafactory performance. Weighing 30.7kg and beginning from box 3 beaten by 1.75 lengths. Carrow Road has been cleared to race all tracks except Warragul.
