Steward's Report
Grindelwald was quick to begin. Flying Banjo and Rim Of Fire were slow to begin.
Norwood and Hounding Me collided on the first turn. Norwood, Hounding Me and Rim Of Fire collided on the first turn, checking Rim Of Fire and severely checking Hounding Me. Grindelwald contacted the running rail on the home turn and lost ground.
Grindelwald underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six. Grindelwald was found to have lacerations and swelling to the left thigh and triangle area. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Hounding Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed.
