Wally Enlim was slow to begin.
Hey You Mug, Why Not Radar and Eddy Betz Keats collided soon after the start checking Why Not Radar, Eddy Betz Keats and Wally Enlim. Spectrum and Hey You Mug collided on the first turn checking Spectrum. Why Not Radar faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Jimi Krakcorn and Bet Bet May collided approaching the home turn. Frank's Flyer raced wide in the home straight.
Why Not Radar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and the left thigh. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
