A pre race sample was taken from Jack's Prince.
Lordly and War Talk were slow to begin.
Bet Bet Betty and Jack's Prince collided soon after the start checking Bet Bet Betty. Popat Port and Lordly collided approaching the first turn checking Lordly. Popat Port, Orange Whip and Bet Bet Betty collided on the first turn checking Bet Bet Betty, Lordly and Jack's Prince and severely checking Big Bad Baz which faltered and tailed off as a result. Bowstreet Buster and Jack's Prince raced wide in the home straight.
Big Bad Baz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
