More Wit was slow to begin. More Wit and Gray Grey Goose collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Chill Out Ilsa and Abby's Toy collided on the home turn.

Clovally Mansumi and Kehestto collided soon after the start. Kingsley Boy and Kraken Courage collided approaching the first turn. Tat Odin and Cash Or Card collided approaching the first turn. Manila Sprite underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Xanadu, Rocky Two, Maximum Lara and Chilling Story collided soon after the start checking Rocky Two. Proven Snow and Chilling Story collided approaching the first turn checking Proven Snow which brushed the running rail as a result. Tat Barbie and Proven Snow on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Maximum Lara and Stylish Chief collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Proven Snow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right scapula injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Blazing Sword - the winner of the event.

Ramble Tamble and Swift Abbey were slow to begin. Ramble Tamble and Xera Bale collided approaching the first turn. Tat Tubby lost ground approaching the first turn and tailed off. Ramble Tamble and Wynburn Jackson collided on the first turn. Swift Abbey raced wide in the home straight.

Tat Tubby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr D. Warburton, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Tat Tubby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Warbuton pleaded guilty, Tat Tubby must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Warburton stated that he wished to retire Tat Tubby and would be in contact with member services tomorrow.

Flossy Lee was slow to begin. Yondu and Aston Klara collided soon after the start. Aston Klara, Keisha's Boy and Hello Cobber raced wide in the home straight. Flossy Lee and Tat Scooby collided in the home straight.

Hurricane Rose was slow to begin. Seeka Moment, Aston Jewel, Medium Rare and All Inn Youi collided soon after the start checking Aston Jewel. Jiggly Wiggly was slow to begin. Jiggly Wiggly and Kraken Roger collided approaching the first turn checking Jiggly Wiggly. Crackerjack Mick eased approaching the first turn and lost ground. Yohan, Carson County and Our Flying Kenny collided on the first turn checking Carson County. Jiggly Wiggly and Carson County collided on the home turn.

Crackerjack Mick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr N. Mason, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Crackerjack Mick was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Mason reserved his plea, Crackerjack Mick was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Hazard was slow to begin.

Cacaneal checked off Crackerjack Des collided soon after the start checking Iceni Sky. Iceni Skye and Calcaneal collided several times approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Crackerjack Des checked off Doran's Call approaching the home turn. Iceni Sky and Cacaneal collided entering the home straight. Aston Hazard checked off Doran's Call in the home straight. Iceni Skye and Aston Hazard collided in the home straight.

Feelin' Seedy and Mrs. Jawa collided in the home straight. 

Meeting Comments:

Stewards were notified that disqualified person Mrs Janine Walker was in attendance at the Shepparton Track this evening. Stewards located Ms Walker on course, which is a breach of her disqualification conditions. In consultation with Club Management, the Stewards advised Mrs Walker to leave course immediately. The matter has been referred to the Investigations Unit.
