Steward's Report
Ramble Tamble and Swift Abbey were slow to begin. Ramble Tamble and Xera Bale collided approaching the first turn. Tat Tubby lost ground approaching the first turn and tailed off. Ramble Tamble and Wynburn Jackson collided on the first turn. Swift Abbey raced wide in the home straight.
Tat Tubby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr D. Warburton, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Tat Tubby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Warbuton pleaded guilty, Tat Tubby must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Warburton stated that he wished to retire Tat Tubby and would be in contact with member services tomorrow.
