Sunlit Breaker was quick to begin. Ramble Tamble was slow to begin. Proven Strudel and Murray Mojito collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Lexie's Boy raced wide in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Lonesome Spring - the winner of the event.

Zinnia Monelli, Vintage Storm and Swift Abbey were slow to begin. Feelin' Seedy and Stylish Chief collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Half Proven checked off Stylish Chief approaching the winning post.

Swift Abbey underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Jaimandy Tony, Cast and Blue Cigar were slow to begin. Chook Richards and Liberal Jones collided approaching the home turn checking Liberal Jones.

Slanter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a tail injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Hazard was slow to begin. Tana's Angel and Uprising collided on the first turn. Crackerjack Des checked off Doran's Call entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa regarding the number of starts his greyhound Zharnel has had between 1/07/19 and 29/07/19 (28 days - 9 starts). Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound only receives minimal lead walking between starts and is not trialled.  He also explained that he checks the greyhound himself each day and also has regular visits from a veterinary surgeon.  He also said that in his experience that his greyhounds are less stressed by their regular training regine than them running daily in their work.

Zharnel underwent a veterinary examination following the event with no apparent injuries detected.  The explaination of Mr Formosa was noted for future reference.

Seeka Moment, Aston Jynx and All Inn Misshap collided soon after the start checking Aston Jynx. Hurricane Rose and Gold Odessa collided approaching the first turn. Seeka Moment, Hurricane Rose, Gold Odessa, All Inn Youi and All Inn Misshap collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Rose, Seeka Moment, All Inn Youi and All Inn Misshap. Aston Jynx clipped the heels of Seeka Moment approaching the home turn. All Inn Misshap raced wide in the home straight.

See Ya Mate - Late scratching at 6:25pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left foreleg toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Piccolo Panther – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for Marring. Weighing 24.8kg and beginning from box 1 winning by a neck. Piccolo Panther has been cleared to race all tracks except Warragul.

Big Flash Marjen – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a spell. Weighing 35.1kg and beginning from box 8, Big Flash Marjen completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.51. Big Flash Marjen placed 4th in a field of 4 beaten by 1.75 lengths. Big Flash Marjen has been cleared to race.
