Steward's Report
Bill Heeny - Late scratching at 11:44am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr P. Elston was fined $100.
Venus Allen – New declared weight of 29.3kgs, last raced at 28.2kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Venus Allen.
Smoke Signals, Jayanti and Architecture were slow to begin.
Architecture and Just Jimmy collided on the first turn. Just Jimmy checked off Jayanti approaching the home turn.
Mr P. Galea failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Venus Allen for racing. Mr Galea was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

MEETING COMMENTS:
The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 400mtrs with 6 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 22.80.
Twenty Tamur finished 1st, Kip Your Best finished 2nd, Spring Silver finished 3rd, Don’t Doubt Net finished 4th, Bushranger Boy was tailed off and Barroom Jewel failed to finish.
Barroom Jewel – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 26.7kgs and beginning from box 1 and failing to finish. Barroom Jewel was not cleared to race. Barroom Jewel underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have a right flexor tendon, right shoulder injuries and a spike wound to the right forearm. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Spring Silver– Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right hamstring injury. Weighing 30.0kgs and beginning from box 4 beaten by 15 ¾ lengths. Spring Silver has been cleared to race at all tracks.
Twenty Tamur – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 30.5kgs and beginning from box 5 winning by 8 lengths. Twenty Tamur has been cleared to race at all tracks.
Don't Doubt Net – Was stood down from racing at Healesville for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 24.0kgs and beginning from box 6 beaten by 18 ¼ lengths. Don't Doubt Net has been cleared to race all tracks except Healesville.
Kip Your Best – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for a fail to chase. Weighing 33.0kgs and beginning from box 7 beaten by 8 lengths. Kip Your Best has been cleared to race at all tracks.
Bushranger Boy – Was stood down from racing at Healesville for fail to chase injury. Weighing 31.9kgs and beginning from box 8 and tailed off. Bushranger Boy has not been cleared to race due to failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.
