Mic Drop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a deltoid and right foreleg injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R Gladman, the handler of Mic Drop. Acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards requested that the trainer Mr. B Hodgson is to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Mic Drop in the event, other than anything which has been already noted by Stewards.

Wolf's Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lower back soreness, a deltoid injury and sore biceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr K Ward, Trainer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Wolf's Ace was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Ward pleaded guilty to the charge, Wolf's Ace must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Why Not Paps – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Warrnambool on 5/12/19. Why Not Paps was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Why Not Paps was cleared to race. 

A sample was taken from Why Not Paps in accordance with GAR 79 (1), having presented for the purpose of revoking a stand down period (re-vet).
