Steward's Report
Petite Charlotte was quick to begin. Have A Roadie and Patchie Two Dots were slow to begin.
Cawbourne Mima and Rossington collided soon after the start. Patchie Two Dots checked off the heels of Have A Roadie on the first turn. Have A Roadie brushed the running rail on the first turn. Have A Roadie checked off the heels of Rossington on the first turn. Mic Drop faultered, shifted out and raced wide through the first turn and approaching the home turn.
Mic Drop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a deltoid and right foreleg injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R Gladman, the handler of Mic Drop. Acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards requested that the trainer Mr. B Hodgson is to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Mic Drop in the event, other than anything which has been already noted by Stewards.
A post-race sample was taken from Petite Charlotte - the winner of the event.
