Maximum Bliss was quick to begin.
Main One, Folding Green and Mr. Uggboot collided on the first turn, checking Mr. Uggboot. Mr. Uggboot contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Maximum Bliss, Hillbilly Boy and Folding Green raced wide in the home straight.
Mr. Uggboot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have dislocated right hind toes, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
