Dynamic Street – Not raced for in excess of 3 months due to a right achilles injury, pre-race sample taken.
Almendra and Slipaway Whitey collided soon after the start. Dynamic Street and Mexican Ned collided soon after the start. Poison Pen and Dynamic Street collided approaching the first turn. Poison Pen faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground. Gold Attraction and Slipaway Whitey raced wide on the home turn. Gold Attraction, Slipaway Whitey and Almendra raced wide in the home straight.
Poison Pen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left toe and left back muscle injuries, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
