Steward's Report
Aaron's Me Boy was quick to begin. My Girl Sal was slow to begin. Akina Ivy, Speedy Bella and Jayville Tahlia collided soon after the start. Aaron's Me Boy and Lump Sum collided on the first turn checking Aaron's Me Boy. My Girl Sal contacted the running rail on the first turn severely checking My Girl Sal which lost ground checking Akina Ivy as a result. Aaron's Me Boy and Jayville Tahlia collided approaching the home turn. My Girl Sal pulled up in the home straight.
My Girl Sal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a compound fracture of the tail. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Taking into consideration the injury sustained by the greyhound Stewards took no further action.
