Steward's Report
Reiko Houdini and Thomeli Monster were slow to begin.
Van Nindi and Snake Pit Lass collided soon after the start. Thomeli Monster, Snake Pit Lass, Keefe and Alita collided approaching the second turn. Keeping Busy commenced to lose ground from the third turn. Alita checked off the heels of Thomeli Monster on the home turn. Keefe and Snake Pit Lass raced wide on the home turn.
Keeping Busy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re vetted following race nine - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Hamilton, the trainer of Keeping Busy, regarding the greyhound's performance from the third turn onwards, from which point the greyhound raced uncompetitively. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Keeping Busy must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nominations will be accepted
