Steward's Report
Speed Twin and Wallah were quick to begin. Simple Way and Short Tyson were slow to begin.
Bitter Dash and Simple Way collided approaching the first turn. Simmons and Pretty Lilly collided approaching the first turn checking Pretty Lily. Wallah and Simmons collided on the first turn checking Wallah and raced wide as a result. Don's Boy raced wide on the home turn. Speed Twin, Simple Way, Short Tyson and Bitter Dash collided approaching the winning post.
Simple Way underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12 - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Borg, the trainer of Simple Way regarding its performance in the home straight. After taking evidence from Mr. Borg, viewing all available footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71. Simple Way must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
