Steward's Report
Lil Snooze was slow to begin.
Taffeta Bale and Charmed collided soon after the start. Taffeta Bale, Belle Express and Lil Snooze collided on the first turn checking Lil Snooze and Cardiff Bale, and severley checking Belle Express, which faltered and pulled up as a result. Midnight Hawk and Charmed collided entering the home straight checking Roger Rocks.
Belle Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination - Belle Express was found to have a fracture to the right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Cherokee Cat - the winner of the event.
Following this event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the first turn and deemed the surface safe for racing.
