Argyle Bella was quick to begin.
Fab's Vera and Full Moon Party collided heavily soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Argyle Bella faltered and commenced to lose ground approaching the first turn. Argyle Bella and Isotope collided on the first turn. Argyle Bella and Full Moon Party collided on the first turn, checking My Bro Lucky. Fab's Vera galloped on Argyle Bella on the first turn, checking Fab's Vera and severely checking Argyle Bella, which lost ground and pulled up. My Bro Lucky checked off Fab's Vera on the third turn.
Argyle Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day standdown period was imposed.
