Stagger Loot and Imminent were slow to begin.
Gino Gambino, Titanium Lad and Zekel Bale collided soon after the start, checking Titanium Lad and Zekel Bale. Titanium Lad checked off Zekel Bale on the first turn, also checking Stagger Loot. Imminent brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Titanium Lad brushed the running rail on the second turn. Titanium Lad checked off Imminent entering the back straight.
Imminent underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Titanium Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an abrasion to the right hind tibia. No stand down period was imposed.
