Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Zipping Ryder upon arrival at the course.
Fleur Burger, Aston Silk and Miss Caitlyn were quick to begin.
Conglomerate and Zipping Ryder collided soon after the start. Amarillo Highway and Zipping Hunter collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Zipping Hunter. Amarillo Highway and Run Like Jess collided on the first turn checking Run Like Jess. Zipping Ryder and Amarillo Highway collided on the second turn checking Zipping Ryder and Run Like Jess; causing Zipping Ryder to lose ground. Conglomerate faltered on the third turn severely checking Miss Caitlyn and Fleur Burger causing Conglomerate, Miss Caitlyn and Fleur Burger to race wide and Conglomerate to lose considerable ground.
Conglomerate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
